Correction: You are NOT a channeler. You ARE channeLING.
What’s the difference?
My last article, Who Are WE Anyway?, had more to do with WHO WE ARE NOT—the mental constructs and labels that a world-gone-mad uses to put us in a box: we are not “consumers,” we are not “the ego mind,” we are not the “all-caps name” on our birth certificates.
In other words, we are not THINGS.
We are not NOUNS—or, for that matter, PRONOUNS (a loaded topic).
You are NOT a channeLER…
But you are channeLING—an ever flowing process of life itself.
The world tells us a different story.
Our parents and teachers inadvertently begin to shackle us at an early age: “What do you want TO BE when you grow up.”
And here, I am referring to the ENTRAINMENT PROTOCOLS:
The propaganda juggernaut that confronts us at the moment of birth that is used to funnel us into becoming someTHING—the protocols that train us forever to categorize ourselves by way of labels and ROLES
A hundred years ago, the roles were far fewer and much simpler: husband/wife... father/mother... butcher/baker.
But as society continues to implode after 2020, the propaganda juggernaut has been feverishly attempting to fracture us into a million shards of ever-multiplying roles.
We are being force-fed to believe that this is somehow “progressive,” that every man should have the right to be a mother (a “birthing parent”) and that every boy should have the right to be a girl—or better yet, a “nothing” (“non-binary”).
It’s not enough to be a butcher or a baker anymore.
That would be far too inflexible.
In the New Normal, you’ll have a “gig,” yes—but it won’t be a job per se. Because it will require a couple of “side gigs,” and you will also need to keep a close eye on the job listings.
In the New Normal, solid footing is a thing of the past.
And in an abstract, philosophical, or even spiritual sense, it has the scent of fluidity and freedom.
Yet it is neither.
It is asking you to stay afloat—while sinking.
It is the newest entrainment protocol of cookie-cutting you into becoming someTHINGS (because someTHING isn’t good enough anymore).
You need to re-envision yourself as a holographic kaleidoscope of your former self. It’s about diminishing your energy and robbing you of the strength to stand with confidence. It is asking you to tap dance until eternity.
You AREN’T flowing more freely through life… you are being chopped up into a million pieces.
Yet the truth (and it’s a hidden truth) is this:
You are channeling The Life.
—Which has everything to do with fluidity and nothing to do with trying to fit yourself into a preassigned slot.
Nothing at all.
As I’ve said before, I believe that we are electromagnetic beings… that if you zoom in on our tiniest parts (let’s say our so-called “atoms”), you’ll find space—and lots of it. Space, plus a whole lot of VIBRATING.
In other words…
You are channeling a living, moving, ever-flowing—you.
And everything you are being NOW is just a split moment from everything you are being next. But a great way of limiting this is the self-hypnotic suggestions and labels we hang on ourselves like invisible name tags.
“But didn’t you just underhandedly criticize non-binaryism? Isn’t non-binary a progressive example of breaking free of labels altogether?”
No, it is not.
And if you look, you’ll find a money trail.
“Non-binary” is a top-down attempt at imposing fake fluidity onto helpless children.
What I am talking about here is something totally different. This is about…
Your internally-driven CREATIVE impulse.
So-called creative people—painters, writers, sculptors, etc.—are constantly accessing their open channels. Everything they create is a manifestation of what flows through these channels.
And since this is a mystical/esoteric Substack—the same applies to so-called psychics. Psychics are really nothing special. They are creative beings who are tapping into the same open channels. Creative people score higher on psychic experiments (yes, they still do them).
But if a psychic tells you he KNOWS the future, don’t believe him. The future is NOT fixed. And in a strange way, neither is the moment...
You are IN THE PROCESS of creating at all times.
Maybe you think you’re just a butcher or a baker, but you are WAY MORE than both.
—And, here, I am definitely NOT promoting that you should have two side gigs and be checking the job listings at the same time!
Definitely not.
Because such fractured ways of living are a recipe for diminishing the creative flow. Cell phones in the hands of children (who am I kidding?…in the hands of everyone) are constantly diminishing this creative flow
The so-called controllers of this world seem hell-bent on fracturing us through multiple means. They want us tap-dancing in circles. They want us flowing, yeah—flowing like a traveling flea circus. Frantic, distracted, and diminished.
The thing about creativity is that it requires calmness of thought.
Most creative people are disciplined because they have to be. You can’t write a novel if you refuse to sit down at the table and write. And spiritual “masters” are no different. They practice the art of focused attention. They meditate daily, and often.
Yeah, but what’s that got to do with me?
Well, the reason I mention the discipline part, the sitting down at the writing desk or in the meditative pose—the act of doing—applies DIRECTLY to YOU!
You are a CREATIVE TYPE. You are a MYSTIC and a PSYCHIC!...
You are The Living Life!
You are an ever-vibrating channel. And, yes, I’m implying CNN, NBC, and FOX—because there’s a point here to be made:
Media networks are CORPORATIONS. And although some would say (maybe rightfully) that we are “corporal beings” because it would appear that we carry a physical body…
May I suggest a different way of looking at it?
You are a LIVING WORLDLY EXPERIENCE.
…And I had to choose my words carefully there, because normally it’s, “You are having a HUMAN experience.”
But are you really?
The metaphysical community propagates the cut-and-paste notion of having a soul that inhabits a body—and that the body is the vehicle, the soul the driver. But what’s a body without the world in which it APPARENTLY inhabits?
In other words, you are not JUST a body—you are reality itself! Because there is NOBODY without the world that you—YOU specifically—inhabit.
Not me. Not your mother. YOU!
But I am promoting less identification—and more doing.
The hypnotic suggestion that forever keeps us in check is this:
“I am David. I do David things. And as time goes on, I collect these David things and paste them into my David Scrapbook. And every day, I like to reference my scrapbook to remind myself of who I am and why I should keep doing the things that I keep doing.”
Does it sound familiar?
What are my accomplishments?…
What are my strengths?…
My weaknesses?…
My failures?…
…How do I define myself, if asked?
And believe me, I am NOT suggesting that I—or even you—have the power to disengage entirely from this way of doing life. If either of us could accomplish such a miraculous feat—well, we’d be immortal, wouldn’t we?
But it would require a complete disintegration of the ties that bind us to our identity.
Is that something I want?
Is that something you want?
Well, whether you want it or not…
You ARE channeling The Life.
You can call yourself a “creator” or a “creation,” and both words involve a fixed state (because to be anything is to be fixed).
So, yes, the title You Are a Channeler was clickbait—but only because I wanted to tell you that you are so much more than that:
You are channeling the ever-vibrating you!
And the more you can free yourself from that scrapbook of things you have accomplished, things you have become, things you want to become, things that you want others to see in you—the more potent your creating (verb) will be.
So, this is about fluidity. The fluidity of not hanging on to the self-limiting suggestions that bind us.
But isn’t that a ridiculous thing to ask of anyone? Who on Earth has the power to disengage himself from his own labels totally?:
“I’m a good person.”
“I’m not a narcissist (like she is).”
“I’m a hard worker.”
“I’m someone who always gets things done.”
I mean, who would we BE without these self-defining mantras?!
Yet I stand by what I am saying:
The more you are in the habit of creating and the less you are in the habit of defining yourself, of labeling your actions, of characterizing other people—the stronger the flow.
I feel that I need to put more thought into this, both for myself and for you (if you are interested in what you are reading). We will need a lot more exercises to free up our flow.
We know of a few already: focused attention, sports, meditation, and creative activities.
But more tricks are needed for a modern-day vibrating being who is bombarded by childhood education (entrainment), parents without borders, social-media role models, music, movies, and TV sitcoms. And, of course, marketing and propaganda (which is all of the above).
I promise to continue striving to uncover more hacks and more tricks.
So let me end here with a few caveats:
1. “Non-binary” is a propaganda campaign that sounds liberating on paper but smells blatantly like George Soros.
How wonderful to guilt-trip parents into thinking that they have to “support” their highly impressionable child should she come home from school one day and demand that “From now on, please call me ‘They.’” (And how insidious to enact legislation that might strip such a child from his parents if the parents refuse to cooperate!)
A culture that trains a child to be a “nothing” (which is what non-binary really is) has consequences not yet revealed; this is a very new, very contrived phenomenon.
2. The secret of “The Secret” (the blockbuster self-help book by Rhonda Byrne), is that the people who are “manifesting” the most money are the ones writing the books about “the laws of attraction” and selling online and in-person seminars that teach it.
There is a significant difference between (a) working to free yourself of self-limiting stories that diminish your life force and (b) a simple, magic trick for creating a six-figure job with a twenty-room house and two sports cars.
3. The danger of putting effort into improving your habits (with the kind of new-agey thinking I am suggesting in this article) is that it can sometimes lead to a further self-limiting side effect I’ll call…
Perfectionism: (1) the trap of trying to appear as though you have a total handle on your emotions at all times; (2) the paralysis of trying to walk the walk and talk the talk when you aren’t feeling it—whatsoever.
Caveats are always a good thing. Because even striving for healthier habits should include clearly marked boundaries.
